Hi! I'm Ms. Cohn (pronounced like Cone) and I am so excited be here teaching you 5th grade.
This is my 11th year teaching and my 11th year in the classroom. I've taught a little bit of everything - 1st grade, 2nd grade, Math Intervention 3rd-5th, Math Specials K-5, Instructional Coaching, and now I am here.
I grew up in Atlanta and graduated from Dunwoody High School. I received my Undergraduate degree in English from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and my Masters in Teaching from Mercer University.
I'm certified in Pk-5th; 6-12 English, and am Endorsed in Instructional Coaching, ESOL, Mathematics, and Gifted.
Oh, and I used to work in New York City at Simon and Schuster and HarperCollins Publishing. I LOVE books! When I'm not teaching you can find me cooking, on the Beltline, and dreaming about traveling.
